New Barstools (and a Give Away from EZ Mod!)

<center></center>We've been using <a href="http://instagram.com/p/hBxVzWQW--/" target="_blank">some really cheap bar stools</a> that I picked up at a thrift store, but they were pretty rickety and it always made me nervous when little kids would sit on them. I ended up calling them to see if they could expedite my order and they were the NICEST people. I'm so happy with them. Kids Cleaning Buckets (and a HUGE Give Away!)

To make their chores a little more exciting (a stretch, I know!) and to give them more ownership, the girls and I decided they needed their own cleaning kits. So we went to Home Depot together and shopped for some supplies to make the kits. We found a huge display with duct tape in all different colors and we thought that would make a cute (and waterproof!) decoration for simple white buckets.<br /><a name="more"></a><br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img alt=" photo IMG_0619.jpg" border="0" src="http://i224.photobucket.com/albums/dd246/jkomenda/ALBUM%2016/IMG_0619.jpg" /></div><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img alt=" photo IMG_0618.jpg" border="0" src="http://i224.photobucket.com/albums/dd246/jkomenda/ALBUM%2016/IMG_0618.jpg" /></div><br />We also picked up some colorful nylon cording.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img alt=" photo Kit3.jpg" border="0" src="http://i224.photobucket.com/albums/dd246/jkomenda/ALBUM%2016/Kit3.jpg" /></div><br />The girls and I worked together to wrap the buckets in layers of the duct tape. My girls love these buckets and they've been diligently doing their chores lately! Rug for Sale, the New Chairish App, and a HUGE Give Away

It's no secret that I have a seriously intense vintage furniture buying habit. It's the thrill of the hunt that really does it for me. So thank heavens I have a job that gives me a good excuse for all the buying! But sometimes enough is enough and even I hit my limit. Or rather, my storage space hits its limit.
